This is a lot, but it sure is a lot of love!

OUR STORY

Our story began when we were just 7 years old. We grew up only five minutes away from one another, not knowing what life had in store for us years to come. At age 7 they played on a baseball team together called the Red Sox. Little did we know we would fall in love years later. In between the 'years later', we kept in touch while going to the same church, middle school & high school together.

Fast forward to October 18, 2017, Nicky told me that he had feelings for me!! (I was so excited I barely slept for 3 days straight) He told me that he had prayed for our relationship for 4 years before he actually told me his feelings. He knew we would be endgame. We were both so excited & nervous, after he told me, we stayed up for over 4 hours that night to talk about it & everything it could be.

In the beginning of our story, we had a beautiful time figuring things out. We didn't come out & tell everyone we were officially together until many months later - Seeing that we had a foundation of 8 years being best friends, that included us calling one another every single night. We wanted to make sure it was right and boy was it! Our relationship had its ups and downs just like any other and it has flourished with God's love. During our 4 years of dating, we enjoyed many adventures together. Those adventures include fishing, many walks, working out together, reading, fellowshipping, and becoming close to our friend Buddy. He was an eighty-five year old man who was visually impaired and lived by himself. Buddy became one of our best friends very quick. Nicky & I's relationship grew as we spent more time with Buddy. His nicknames for us were  'Becky & Nickel.' Throughout our relationship, he had hope & words of encouragement when we didn't. God led us to Buddy thinking we were there to help him, when in reality Buddy helped us more than we knew.

Then 4 wonderful years later Nicky asked me to marry him on December 25th, 2021 & of course I said yes! After our engagement, we got married on October 15th, 2022. We are trying to live a God chasing, fun-filled life together as husband and wife with our little blessing of a daughter, Luna, and son on the way.
